Sayornis Nigricans

The black phoebe, latin name Sayorinis Nigricans. A small nondescript black and white bird in the flycatcher family. It's sort of like me. I'm a lover of birds and books and tea and cool foggy days. I'm heavily influenced by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Flannery O'Connor, William Faulkner, Carson McCullers, anything with a bit of a dark twist. I'm not so much of a writer as on observer, attempting to capture moments with words.

I'm Brad, a 21 year old novelist from Australia, the land of the free and the home of the wildly murderous fauna. I've been writing since I was three years old, and generally speaking, I'm pretty bloody good at it. My loves, as far as fiction is concerned, are centred around Imperialst societies, science fiction, high fantasy, epic fantasy, political romance, adventure and conspiracy. I really enjoy exploring new worlds, and crafting - from scratch - exciting and challenging avenues of literary originality. I'm currently in the process of being published, so look out for my name in the near future!
