Dreaming on green,
stars wake me from my defeat,
with an urgent plea
to kiss the sky,
and treasure all the friends that I meet.
Generosity speaks,
and so I rise.
From tree to ledge,
earthly ties.
A second chance,
a race so far,
to reach the heavens through emerald bars.
Foliage cover,
discovery made,
tools to help me along my way.
Obstacles low and dangers high,
flowers on fire,
starlight shattered goodbye.
Territorial youth,
aggressive with pride,
falls to folly,
runs,
but doesn't cry.
Brothers defending,
red and blue,
castle walls,
a great king,
loud and shrewd.
Who yells from above,
empty words,
crown of gold.
He falls from his palace,
lost in time,
sold his soul.
As we break from dark,
bright pulls us in.
Out of the forest,
a journey begins.
