Still Scarred
by Annabel the Cannibal
When you see me at times
Do you wish you could
Spread my legs up to the sky
and dip them back down to the ground
Once you've had your way
With me?
Once you've had your play,
Will you regret me.
and, instead of sending me on my way,
Will you hold contempt for the words unsaid
And expect that there's no respect in me?
Will my heart not be clenched in a grip of fear
Knowing you'd push me out as soon as I am near?
Will you still have resent for me?
Had I known that I am the one that didn't belong,
I am the one that was being wronged
Would I still be the antagonist?
Would I still be
What you expected
A collection of bad choices
A bad choice amongst your collection
Even though
My heart bled for you,
Will your words to me ever be truth?
Will my love ever be justified
Inside of your brazen lies?
